Midwest-int.com 200 series projector headlights and led taillights

Has anyone had luck getting a hold of Midwest Automobile Styling based in Japan in regards to their LED taillights or projector headlights that they show for the 200 series? The link is: LANDCRUISER200 Catalog data?MIDWEST


I sent them an email several days ago but never received a reply. Is it safe to assume that maybe they are not available for purchase since there is no way of placing an order for any of their parts via their website?

Lastly, the 200 series shown in their pictures has the 100 Series style body colored/chrome rear tailgate garnish (with the "Land Cruiser" script) opposed to the all chrome part that is stock. Any luck with finding a supplier to actually buy this from as well?

Did they ever reply to your email? I sent them an email of couple of days ago regarding their LC 200 headlights but haven't heard anything from them yet.

I did do a little research on the internet and found a manufacturing partner request that their company sent out. Going off of that, they probably have the product designed and a very small number of units produced, but have yet to begin the major manufacturing of this product that would allow it to be available to the general public.

On the other hand, I also found a posting at ezplaza.net indicating that they could already have the product being manufactured in Japan but are now searching for a distributor to export their product to.

If you don't mind the LED/Halo additions, a company called Anzo already has a projector headlight setup on the market for the LC. They seem to be a pretty easy install from what I've read, but it's hard to judge on the quality of their units without having a set in front of you.

Well they responded to my email saying that I could order those headlights from them and I could get them in about a month. They also sent me the pricing. Those LED tail lights will set you back USD $1190 while the projector head lights will cost USD $1935. If you want to complete the set with their fog lights, those will put you back another USD $955.

To answer your question about the Land Cruiser badge, the stealership sells them . When I looked at the paint codes, white and black are carry over colors and looks much better with the 100's badge IMHO.

Lots of money for lights. I wonder if the front headlamps are active cornering. I would have no problem forking out the money for those.

They aren't active cornering. Those have to be linked to the steering angle sensor and a motor is inside of the headlight assembly.

$3500 for spacers!

I could buy my own CNC and do it myself for that price! (well -- not really, but I could have a friend with a CNC do them for a hell of a lot less... )
