Yes. I’ve attached your original photo with a red arrow showing the “arm” that’s missing a chunk on mine. These arms on both sides can be removed and reused. One of mine has a chunk out of it. I’m guessing someone kicked it accidentally.

Sure. The whole mechanism detaches from the back cover of the center console. Don’t need the back cover.
