Bought a whole set for my 4Runner and possible replacement of the LTX M/S on one of my 80 today. Suppose to be an upgrade for the LTX M/S. The original tires were Bridgestone which lasted about 50K miles. The LTX M/S that I have right now have 46K miles and still have more than half the original thread. Anyone running these tires?

Got the old LTX M/S, as they came with the truck when we bought it. Great for a road and snow tire, in fact better in snow than I would've believed, considering they're getting worn. I wouldn't want to get very far off road on them, but reliable for what they are.

Reliable indeed. They also seems to hold air pressure very well. They also said that these new series have more siping for better traction on snow and shorter stopping distance. We'll find out.

Anything Michelin makes is a quality, long wearing tire. I dont see how you would go wrong.

When I got my truck, the dealer/PO had installed a new set of LTX M/S's. Lasted almost 90k, very much street/highway miles, but still...

Since Day 1

I've had the LTX M/S's on from Day 1...350K miles ago. I'm on my forth set now and I can get 90K plus out of them. About to graduate to my fifth set.

I love 'em !!!!

What size M/S 2 did you put on?

I have 265/70R16 M M/S's and yes they are great road tires but mud and especially snow are their anemies. Next tire will be BFG AT.
