Have any of you guys ever tried cutting a memory foam mattress to fit in the back of your rig? I was wondering how easy is it to cut? If I get a twin size I will have to cut it in half (thickness-wise) all the way down. I think that may end up a mess. ??? :hhmm:

Hard to keep the thicknesses all even huh? Guess I will look for something thin, like a topper, and fold it over double. 4-6 inches ought to do the trick. Memory foam is expensive! :crybaby:

Just get a twin air mattress... like 20 bucks at Bi Sexual mart... It may not fit pirfect but its better than nuthing! its what I use in the FJ

I just a cut a foam pad to fit. Fred Meyers. $16

Get one of those electric turkey carving knives from Goodwill. They work well for carving foam.

Cool! That's a great idea. And if I can rewire it to work from a cigarette lighter it would be great for the Pig at Mcgrew next year.
