Alright, I know Kyle has to get his turbo done before the Memorial Day trip... anyone else have any crunch time projects for the cruiser?

My goal is to have working A/C - new compressor and evaporator are on the way and should be here this week. My neighbor came through big time with Denso parts at cost...

I'm also thinking my brakes could use some attention.

Jones bought tires. You get them mounted up?

We've also got a fuel transfer system to look at on Caleb's 40.

Anyone else got any crunch time projects? Need a hand, tool, part?

Got my tires mounted. Love the 285's :D I still need to take off my running boards and figure out this rattle that's been bugging me. I believe its a loose exhaust bracket or hanger. Just been lazy..

I have a pretty neat yet cost effective vacuum brake bleeder if you need to use it! I also have some OEM rear pads that are like 80% life left in them. I just upgraded to ceramics all around.

Need to figure out what it's going to take to get my AC up and running. Mike, when you took the belt off, were you able to figure out what was going on? Anything I can fix before we hit the trail?

I took out that aluminum tube on the fire wall. It's been sitting in the garage for a month. The 1 4 yo a/c

Mike, I've got some 90 percent pads and rotors for the front if you want them. Just went ceramic as well and they're now cluttering up my area.

Not really a crunch but I need to get my winch control box mounted. I need to do this and put my roof rack on real quick which I believe yohavos is coming to lend a hand.

William when I you plan on doing this? 6 hands are better than 4

Gonna do it Thursday or Friday morning. 6 hands may be too many. The roof rack is easy just need the extra set if hands to get it up on the truck. The winch control box I pre-fit before I headed to Texas. All I need to do is slap it on, strap it down and hook all the connections up. You can always stop by though and make sure we're doing it right.

Well looks like I will not be able to make this trip anymore. The Water pump decided to explode sending coolant everywhere while I was in Cle Elum yesterday. Had to get it towed back into town and since work is busy this week I probably wont finish in time. bummer.

That sounds like a crunch project for sure! see what you can do though, Mike how hard are those?

I got my turbo in, just a few things here and there to button up. Only other major thing I need to do is replace my fuel governing diaphragm. Its pretty much toast and I am idling ridiculously high now.

Sweet sound...

Sounds nice man. I come into town Wednesday night. I'm sure we could get that water pump in.

Well my dad took it into his friends shop yesterday which happens to be next to Mikes house haha. I hope it will be done by the end of this week. fingers crossed.

That turbo sounds sweet!

Got it back yesterday. Now I need to pull off the running boards and mount/wire up some additional lights and Ill be good to go!
