membership requirements

For those of you who did not attend last night's meeting, Dave West motioned and got majority approval to return our membership requirements to what they have been in the past...........NONE! You show up at the meeting, say you've got a 4x4, pay your $20 and you're in.

THose of you who have been 'on the fence' because of meeting and event attendance requirements, WAIT NO MORE!

You too can now run a Trail Crew sticker on your truck before we have any idea what kind of wheeler you are... or aren't.;p

As you might be able to tell from my wordage, I was not one of the ones that voted in favor of this change.

I would have liked to see some more discussion on this, and feel that at least those who couldn't make it to the meeting should know of such an important change in the club's policy.

I would post to the club's yahoo site, but I haven't been able to log in there for over a year!

wow... I thought that the requirement was 2 meetings' and 2 run's... thats what I did last year. Well i think that we will talk about this in the springs.

Actually Tony, I think that whole membership business got undone at the following meeting. Would have to check with our secretary to be sure, and he doesn't exactly keep the most accurate records.
