There were a bunch of MegaCruisers driving around Nagano, Japan during the 1998 Winter Olympics. Nike had them as VIP transportation for their Club Nike Venue. All had a huge Nike Swoosh on the side and full limo tint. I would drool everytime I saw one and I even saw Gretsky get out of one at the hockey venue. Other than the Hilux Surfs (4runners) outfited with tracks zooming up and down the ski hills and roads the MegaCruiser was by far the coolest thing on the road. I've got some photos somewhere I try and dig them up.

As far as I know pretty much all Land Cruisers are military based. Just when you think a certain series wouldnt be used by the military... they appear. Even the 100 series is used as military vehicles.

The JSDF MegaCruiser is military application.

they sold a couple d90s here in us. pretty hard find though everybody trys to buy it from me on sight.

Its got full ome susp., Bull bar, Warn winch,and some rock sliders

The NHTSA has never allowed the sale of the d90 past 97. It is OK to admit you have a grey market vehicle. Hell, I am jeaolous. And if you do not know, then you should. It is specifically stated against in the importation guidelines.

A 150 horseys is aplenty and the torque is even better.

It makes 280Ft-Lbs of torque, at only 1800 Rpm. Its designed to be a torquey engine. 4.1L Inline 4 Intercooled Turbo-Diesel (15B-FTE)
