You need to get to work and stay off Mud :flipoff2: You were too fast

Josh, BoomBap, had contacted me about joining ONSC at Gulches for a ride during March 20-21, we were game...

We should make one big group at Durhamtown in Feb-- it looks like the the Low County guys are planning to the same weekend we are, Feb 20.

Also, I'll post it up early. Our Outer Banks Spring Tide Ride this year is set for April 21-25 2010. We're still in the process of determining how many slots we can open up, capping the max # of trucks at 50, but once we know how many of our guys are going, we'll make an annoucement. We'd like see you guys there...

smkymtn can you contact Rick Arflin at Ralph Hayes Toyota about holding a monthly meeting at their location on March 6th? We'll eat next door at the buffet restaurant (forget the name).

Hey UC members, this will be a good time to order those factory parts we all need and pick them up that afternoon at the meeting. If you haven't met Parts Manager Rick Arflin, then this is your chance to meet one of the nicest guys in the business. Don't forget he's the one that put our club in touch with the SET regional manager that started the college fund for Jackson Reeves.

Let's show our support for this invaluable resource to our club - a reliable and caring dealer sponsor. He's taken care of my replacement parts needs (too many!) and I've had service done there too.

April MM is still up for discussion...

What do you guys think of having a thread dedicated to swapping parts. It could be in conjunction with the monthly meetings? thoughts?

how about a "build a mess of sliders" meeting?

I have a welder miller 250, a plasma cutter, chop box, grinders etc. I just do not have a space to make them.

I know the club has a bender, people could bring their own steel or we all agree on material, and cost, maybe we could get a better deal.

I have not used one of the benders like the clubs, and I like others have their own ideas, but I thought this might be a starting point. Maybe we could just bend tubing and let people assemble in their own time???

I think this could be a cool 2010 Super HAMOM event, similar to the axle rebuild we did a few years ago. Come, bend your own pipe (sliders, bumpers, etc.) and maybe put it together. Not that I can offer any expertise, tools, or a space, but I'd be interested in coming and doing it :hillbilly:

I need some sliders, I've never used a bender but I'd like to learn.
Count me in as well if the dates work out for me :)
