Put your glasses on old man. I said a while back there was a possibility that I may not be able to make it but I did not know I was suppose to watch my kids.
You are going. There are no if ands or buts about it.
i picked a time and place because it was getting nowhere.

my my nothing has changed around here....

Looks good Stu...I like the color. Bumpers are not bad...fit vehicle but easily damaged as you will find out. As for rack...if you need to carry more than you can fit inside...the racks are great. I loved mine...and a trailer is out of question so fill up the inside and stack it on top was my motto. LOL

welcome back to fold...

Thanks Ron. The racks are definitely useful if you have the right attachments. I've always loved the look of the FJC without. My Dad bought his in Summer of 2006 and I thought he was crazy when he said he didn't want a rack (b/c back then, they all had them). But now I really like the classic feel it gives it. I'm sure I will be hunting solutions after a few camping trips. Especially once my family gets bigger. Thanks for the imput...see you Sat. Need to get paid up and slap on a sticker (someone bring a couple if you have any.

and i still dont a TLC BLAM......

I always have a couple stickers laying around...just remind me in case Dbenke or Milligan dont have any with them...or swing by house one day and get one.
So this means you are not coming. Punk.

I should be there...might be late as I am going to be out at Wadmalaw checking tree stands, putting out deer pellets, pulling and replacing memory cards on trail cameras and keeping from having a heat stroke out in this weather. Then I will head straight there but will be sweaty, hot and tired...as long as you guys dont leave in 30 minutes I should be there...just have a cold beer ready when I get there. :) :)

Dont mind the ticks...they dont drink much blood and the DEET will get them eventually. LOL

what did you say?

TLC has been parked for 2 months OVER heat in private lot, got towed, now its a lot, and i dont have parts or $ to get it out......

EDIT: Its finally HOME......

Glad to come, good to catch up w/ everyone, and meet some new members...looking forward to the Boil. I'll try to get by Blue Moon graphics later this week to start puting ideas together for the t-shirts.
Spoke with two other FJC owners in my neighborhood this weekend who want to join up and go wheeling. Told them to look us up on here. One of them works up at SPAWAR (sp??). Still a fan of a breakfast meeting...I bet we'd see attendance rise (just throwing that out).

Stu, a couple of us are heading up to Gulches in a couple weeks with mostly stock rigs to see what it's like. Myself in a Taco with rear locker and an FJCruiser along with a stock FJ60. You should come along, it will be some light wheeling hopefully if it stays dry the next couple of weeks up there.

Sounds cool. Really looking to get into a mostly camping and activity-based 4wheeling. Light trail-riding is all I really want to do in my DD. 4wheeling to camp locations then doing hiking, biking, kayaking, that all would be awesome. Just wheeling loops in the mountains and bashing body panels is not my cup of tea anymore (used to be, but not with the fjc). What weekend are you looking to go? I'm out of town next weekend and the one after that I'm working.

I'm with you on all that. I am really looking forward to the boil for some beach driving, camping, kayaking, and fishing.

I am hoping that my 40 is driveable for the Gulches trip as it is not my cup of tea for my DD either, however I look at it as a way to get out the house and meet some new people for the time being.

We are shooting for Aug. 21st.

I'll check out the trail layout. Unfortunately, I'll be working that weekend. Planning on going to the Annual UC Meeting tho on 9/4. Thanks for the invite. Let me know if your date changes.
