From Jesse:

"I just talked to Bret of Trail Tough. The meeting is for the direction of the development of the ponds and the sports park. One of the options on the table closes the ohv area. He wants people and 4wd's to fill the parking lot representing our hobby and to sign petitions in favor of keeping and exp[anding the ohv are, just an update, I'll be there."

Not going to make it :(

Sorry I didn't make it got tied up with the fam, thank you for the notice hope there was a big turn out.

Sorry I didn't make this, work. I did tell some other people that like to wheel there about it though. Thanks for the txt.

Anyone that went can we get an idea of what happened and the thoughts on what will probably happen?

It went like this. Basically they had three options for the development of the whole Sports park facility.

Option 1: leave enough room for a road course along the outside of the park. Shrink the offroad area, and move a bunch of stuff around

Option 2: Left everything pretty much the same, or kept the development plan on its current course.

Option 3: reduced the offroad area and put in a huge nature area that you could PAY to see!! (People laughed at this one but the county liked it because it had income potential.)

They were just looking for feedback at this point. Trail Tough and the majority of the people there were supporting option 2 with some of the drag race onroad guys leaning toward option 1. The problem with Option 1 is that even though they left area for a road course there is no money to build it. Someone would have to come up with the money before it could even be considered so, in reality it won't happen any time soon. Anyway most people went with option 2, I wrote in that I wanted option 2 with the road course from option 1. I'm sure there will be an official vote in the future, if I hear anything I'll pass it on.
