CAPITAL LAND CRUISER CLUB
MEETING MINUTES
JANUARY 3, 2007 MEETING
Meeting called to order at 7:38 pm by Sebastien Guilmard
Introductions were made for all those attending.
Elections were held for the club officers. The following were elected:
President: Sebastien Guilmard
Vice President: Andrew Lamkin
Secretary: Jim Ross
Treasurer: Felix Stump
Quartermaster: Jim Ross
Other club positions to be defined at next meeting. If anyone is interested in holding a specific position or help out, please email us directly.
Sebastien outlined his goals for the club:
Better define the club by updating the Charter and Bylaws
Increase the number of technical days
Establish a 6 month calendar and set events 2 month in advance and identify
a specific individual in charge of that event. Andrew to put together list of possible venues.
Discussed possible wheeling events
Rausch Creek in March Date to be set at next meeting
Discussed a spring swap meet and set possible date of April 21 or 28, 2007. Felix to coordinate with Beta Blue Ridge Cruisers and then check with Iron Pig as a possible location.
At technical days, discussed preparing a handout in advance describing the event and take either pictures or videos to share at a future meeting. Jim R. to check with possibility of getting Toyota mechanic at dealership to do a tech day where we might be able to watch maintenance/repairs being done on a vehicle. We will approach other repair shops/fabricators to do tech days as well.
Felix reported that he is still exploring possible changes to the current CLCC logo.
