BTW...
I have NOT heard from the FS after e mailing.
There was word that the director that was supposed to come and speak was LEAVING, so we wont be expecting her.

I think the lady that we wanted to have speak is retiring--at least that info was mentioned at the meeting--Karen right?

If we feel it would be helpful to further the cause then there were a couple of people at the Markleville meeting that may be able to educate us on how to do this.

It seems like the comment phase is over and the options have been put out there. Now is the time for us to figure out our plan of action/attack. The next phase?

We just made it.
I just got off the phone with the BLM Winnemucca field office. High Rock Canyon was just opened up on Saturday!
So good to go for this weekend.

Is this stock friendly? And when are we planning the run. I got Mtb race next Saturday but think the weekends are clear until Memorial Day weekend.

AFAIK, it's stock friendly. Never have run it, myself and have always wanted to.

It's pretty stock friendly , I did it in my GMC full size with a long bed and extended cab. Most of the run is 2wd with a few 4wd high clearance spots.

Eh, no dice then. First race of the season and I know that my legs are going to be hell. Race will be at 8am in G-Ville (Pine Nuts). Guess I will keep my eye out on the Reno4x4 forums to see when they are doing another stocker friendly run. Got a bunch of things buttoned up this weekend so she is running better than ever. Now I just need to get to the damn rear main seal leak and I might ACTUALLY have a no leak cruiser!
