I really want to capture some great in route imagery on the Continental Divide Expedition so I put together a little mount based on the excellent help from Photomark in Phoenix, on Mcdowell road. They have been super nice to this roving idiot who knows less than nothing.
I gave it a little test run last night and it works great with little vibration and it is completely adjustable.

so now you can film all your road rage stunts. when the guy in the 72 ford truck comes at you with a 45 you will have proof he cut you off! :flipoff2:

very cool mount, indded :D

Is that a mofer living on your camera?

that is a dead cat....
no really that is what it is called
the Aussie company that makes the mic cover calls them Dead Cat
I had to have it for that reason alone

All right, I need some more pics of that setup. I really have no need for such a setup, but it looks really neat.

It also looks like you've got your camera upside-down. If that is correct, is there a setting in the OS that allows you to flip the picture, or are you planning on doing this later in the editing stage?

Also, what is hanging below the camera?

Like I said, more pics from more angles please - thanks!

Oh, very nice btw.
