Meet & Greet - 1/19/12 in Puyallup

Hey everyone,

A bunch of us are getting together on January 19th for a Meet & Greet of sorts. It won't be strictly Land Cruisers, but will be cool, like minded people. We'll probably crawl over each others trucks, then go inside and have a few drinks, then go back outside and do a bit more crawling!

The current schedule has us meeting on January 19th at 6:30 pm at The Spar in Tacoma, WA.

There has been discussion about moving this to the Ram in Tacoma. I'll keep this thread updated.

It would be cool to swarm this with Cruiser owners! I plan on bringing the new truck, so that should be cool to share.

Hope to see some of you there! Hopefully we can make this a monthly event. I'm already planning the February one, probably somewhere in Lacey (I'm thinking Norma's burgers).

This is a wife/kid/family friendly event, so feel free to bring em out!

Hey Woods....
I moved up fromMesa last year, I have been really happy in the area just outside of Renton (I live in Fairwood as the locals call it, but Renton according to the post office).
I dont recognize you from your user id, but I attended CSC meetings from time to time, so would probabyl recognize your rig if nothing else.

Very little action on the mud board here (compared to Copper State), most takes place on the google forum, and even then, not much compared to CSC.

Looking forward to getting up there. Even though I am one of the founding members of CSC, I sadly don't make it to as many of the months get togethers as I would like to.

I couldn't edit the thread title but it's actually in Tacoma now. Got a bunch of guys coming out still.

It's looking like a lot of this will be gone by tomorrow. Many of the main streets here in Tacoma are pretty clear already, and if it warms up and rains (like expected) I expect we'll have a pretty slushy drive tomorrow.

Wouldn't mind seeing the new meats, you should come out!

No problem man, completely understandable. A majority of the folks signed up were in the same boat.

We left right after I talked to you on the phone, they were closing roads down all around us for fallen trees.

Hopefully we'll get some better treatment from the weather next month!
