My local non-denominational 4x club is having a club run on the 4th. Some will probably camp that night.
Should we expect a crowd that weekend?
Meeting at the store @10. Usually a small group. We only had 4 plus me in June when we went.
Thanks mates,

:hmm: Help wife with garage sale or go play. Have to see about this. :)

...back to Labour day weekend. :D Sourdough crowded?
Thanks guys,

Labour day is a no go for me :(

Though some(me) may camp Sat night, this is a one off event. Sat only. Just wondering if it gets crowded that weekend usually?

I would venture say won't be crowded at all.

Fire? I was unaware.

Will be over near Bend that weekend. Am planning to check out the East Fort Rock OHV Trail System. An area bigger than the Kalmiopsis Wilderness with 4WD roads going everywhere. Checked it out on google earth.Just east of the Paulina lakes. Awesome.!
Would like to know more about your club and maybe do a run together.

Please report back on that area. Sounds like fun.
Here's a start about our club. Lost Coast 4x4's

As long as the Sourdough spur is open, there'll be a handfull of us going in Fri night.
Quetsion: one of the members wants to trailer in his Jeep. Advisable? (No jeep comments or jokes please...oh heck go ahead)
Not sure if there's much standing in the way except for that last little drop off into the camp.
What say ye wise and noble fellows?

Just talked to Jerod and he reminded me of the water bars. So it doesn't look like the jeep will be trailered into Sourdough. Some of us will still be going Fri night though.
Thanks or never mind:rolleyes:

Yeah, no way on towing a long trailer.. I was noticing how overgrown the trail to camp was- A full size truck would get some serious rubbing as well.

Thanks Kief.

BTW- Ernest looks like a real clean ride.. Make sure you post it up on CL a lot. I read a pretty cool thread here on mud about putting a 4 speed on one- couple with a doubler someone would have a cheap hardcore crawler!

So all is well, now, in Mudville.
We'll be on the Mcgrew if anyone would like to join. Busy weekend for most.
We'll be leaving the store around 10am if interested.
Have a safe weekend ya'll. See you on the flip side.

Had fun. The Chevy was entertaining and made it with a bit of carnage.
Windy Sat nite and Sun. Had to clean up a little on the way home.
Low 80's and clear. Just right.

Looks like a good trip... the 2 pix of the Chevy wont pop up... but the rest of them look good!
