Pictures of a MC09 027 that was making noise and had a large pile of metal fines on the crawler box drain plug.

Was in an All Pro built 2004 Tacoma.

Case was installed when truck had about 8-9K miles on it. Currently has 36K. Ick.
 
Crawler box input splines shown in picture one and two, post one appear to be fine.
