sounds like Tillamook is one option but a bit of a drive to get there, any thing a little closer to home? I got my lift kit on and wanting to try it out soon...

Evans Creek it is.

Vkfzj80 & I will be leaving the Olympia area around 9AM tomorrow, post up if you would like to join us.

We have never been but I have a map & a GPS.

Hi All:

The Naches Trail gets close to this cabin, but does not drive by it. It is a snow mobiler's cabin so it is off of the meadow itself. It is worth the walk from the 4x4 trail to see this cabin - very nice.

Regards,

Alan

So Tilamook or Naches?

Never been to either so hopefully someone who has can lead...

If we go to Naches I would like to be able to make it up to the cabin at Government Meadows or is that impassible right now?

I want to take these photos:

I'm up for an overnighter too...

cabin

Way back along time ago we did a overnighter this must of been 10 years ago or more it was snowing like crazy when we got to the cabin , we brought a rig up to the cabin you could do that in them days , brought out the on board air blue the dust and crap out of the cabin built a fire and then 15 people l spent the night in there about 2 im the morning a bear or ? made a big noise out in the field , a few Guns came out fired a few rounds and then every body went back to sleep , in the moring we finished our run over to Whistling Jacks and then up to the Manashtsh ridge , what a blast , ill be up for a night run next winter right before they close the Naches ,

We made it!

We all had a blast, 1 long(er) wheeling trip-mostly a camping trip. 4 Cruisers, NO snow till about 6050'. Fig. I'd share some pics- Hope to wheel with you all soon! Do we need to show at a meeting or can we join the club on-line?

here is some pics that my brother shot, I'd like to go back there again some day to do some more exploring but the trails that we did run were a bit tight for the 80 and they were the less challenging ones... it was a fun trip and I had a chance to break in my new lift and tires
