This is my first post so forgive me if this has been answered. I have searched the forums but have not found an answer...

I am having the OME lift installed on my LC this week. I am planning on installing the KMC Monster wheels in 20x9 with an offset of about -18mm, I believe. I would like to get the Toyo Open Country M/T's on it in a size 33x12.5x20. Does anyone know specifically if this size tire will fit? Seems like most people are keeping the stock wheels....

I have seen some people running 305-55-20 with the slightly taller 2 1/2 inch lifts without problems. Is the main issue for clearance the wheelwells or the upper control arms?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

David

Is this for a wheeling vehicle? I'm gathering not due to the 20" rims. You are going to find very few if any that have 20" rims on their cruisers on these boards....

If anything I'd rather have 17's than the stock 18's.

To answer your question though (although I must admit I detest 20" rims on a cruiser....), a 33.5" OD tire is about the absolute largest that will fit on a non-fender modified LC200.

I run 275/70/18 and that's the absolute largest for an 18" rim.

EDIT: I should add that the issue with running larger (without offset) is hitting the front mud flaps. With these removed, you may be able to go larger, but I think you will hit the UCA's. Adding offset may hit the upper fender unless it's flared.
