Started on the front bumper last night. Working out the design as I go. The original plan was to do mostly plate in the middle with tube wings, but I may just do all tube now. The only think I am really sure about is that I am going to wrap a strap around the two main support plates like the top of the ARB.

angle them radiator supports "up" that way you can tuck the bumper higher! 1FZE's can't do this because of the AC dryer... but 3FE's ain't got that problem.

Honestly, I can't remember. I may have cut that flush. I remember guessing a wedge out to "bend" the brace up, then tack welded the brace back in place after everything was removed. So know, it does seem i removed that part of the wheel well. But it was all still very solid.

For current sliders and the new bumper, yes. I sold the arb to another club member and borrowed his oem bumper to hold me over until I got the tube bumper built. If I add anything else(rear bumper tire carrier) I will probably raise the asking price a little bit.

When that bumper is done I may want a bumper and sliders package. The wife wants a beefier bumper on my 80. And I never ignore her.
