My 78 pickup needs a master cyl (brake). What years and in what Toys were they put in? Can I put a domestic brand one in? eg Ford or GM. Does anyone have the Toyota part#? I should have posted this in the owners club (whoops)

I would get a new OEM or high quailty aftermarket, I see no need to use any GN crap wheh you can get the correct one.

That's what I'll do then. Do you know of any good suppliers?

pm me for a price
I have direct FJ45 replacements. You need 1 1/8" bore not 7/8"
these are brand new from Japan as well

is the big bore used because of the big front and rear drums on the 45?

Has anyone seen MUD_GUPIE?

I've looked around and got no factual answer but these 45's from 76 t0 80 with the front drums seem to be the only the only ones with this master cyl. Not very handy when tring to find one. New from Toyota is over $400.00 CDN. MUD_GUPIE says he might have one new from Japan. I pm'ed him about 5 days ago but haven't heard from him. Has anyone seen/heard from him? I want to get it on the road ASAP but don't NEED it unti August. I can be patient as much as it's killing me. I also have a buddy who's one hell of a machinist who says he thinks he can sleeve it out without too much trouble. Even if I get the new one I'm going to do this anyway. It won't cost much more than some beers.

sorry for the delay
I get very little time to browse the web
