So after many months of procrastination on both my part and Johns, I figured it was about time someone put something up on our epic trip down to the Rubicon Trail for the Marlin Crawler Round up. For those of you who have not been yet this event is a must for any die hard Toyota enthusiast and is well worth the drive. The trail is great, the scenery amazing and the people and the trucks they bring make for some great times!
Heres how it went.
After leaving my home in Alberta I drove to vancouver to pick up a friend of mine who had been away from Canada travelling for the last three years. Basically I drove from Alberta to Vancouver picked him up at the airport, dropped off his extra luggage and headed straight for the states. We made it as far as portland that night and had to make it the rest of the way to the trail head the next day. From my place to the trail head, via vancouver is about 2600k so it was a lot of driving for 3 days. Anyways we made it and it was worth it!
