When marking all forums read it kicked me out of the sub-forum and took me back to the main forum page. Bug or feature? If feature can you treat it as a bug, please? Haven't tried marking any particular sub-forum read, don't yet know what that does.

Hum, don't see an edit post option. Anyway tried marking just a sub-forum and that kept me in place, as it were.

A critique, fwiw. It seems like every time a new feature is added it gets tacked onto an existing feature. I'm speaking about the software industry as a whole. So now we have the option to "locally" mark as read or globally mark as read. Except now marking a forum as read is a two step process instead of a single click. If the goal was to slow down the user then it's a success.

For me personally I've never wanted or needed to globally mark the forum as read, there are only a few sub-forums that I frequent and I don't always wish to mark them as read. So part of this post is the usual "you've changed the software on me" bitchiness and part of it is lamenting the loss of a clean, simple, and efficient function. :)

hum, this lack of ability to edit a post is really, really not good (except as a way to bump your post count!). I hope as this new thing gets sorted out that this will change.

Just, by accident, marked all read when I only wanted to mark one read. argh......
