I'd go ahead and NOT buy the caps from the dealer. Waitit out and find a pair on eBay or something for a lot less. I just sandblasted and painted my rear caps, but after putting them back on I decided I like the simple look without them. Mine never came with ones for the front, but I agree with Pimp that they do look funny and hide any problems. Plus it has sort of a more retro look without them. I might be willing to part with one of my sets of rear caps. I have a set of nice clean ones painted satin black, and a set with surface rust if you're in a do-it-yourself kinda mood.
