Miescha Returns!

Well, I'm hardly back, but thought I'd at least post up on my whereabouts.

First, my apologies (especially to toyminator) for disappearing and not responding to anyone in quite a while. I did get on-line at one point, but decided after just a few minutes that typing would be for me for a while.

The short story is that I had a minor ski accident last month in Vail, CO (great snow!) and ended up with two cracked ribs, a swollen knee, torn rotator cuff and torn bicep. Worse still, I busted my brand new Vokl Tiger Shark skis !

Anyway, not much could be done about the knee or ribs, but I had surgery Monday this week (24th of March) to reattach the bicep and rotator cuff. Up until then Icouldn't move my right arm and typing with one hand pretyy mch sucked. I'm working on getting used to it though. The first day wasn't so bad, but the pain really set in on the second and third day (when the good drugs wore off I guess). I know wfd had the same or nearly same surgery and had no problems, but I must be a wimp b/c the pain is really kicking my ass - unless I use the percocet and vicodin and stay on the ice machine.

Anyway, I my truck needs a ton of minor work done, but I won't be able to do any of it as my arm is immobiized for 2 months and won't be fully recovered for 6-8 months. But as soon as I'm p;ast the initial recovery, I'll certainly join and ride along with someone else.

I'm looking forward to some pics from today's trip - so post up!

I'll also plan on making the next monthly meeting (Thursday right_).

See you all later!

He's alive!! Well pretty much anyway. Hi Miescha. Skiing is a dangerous sport. Just ask Sonny Bono. Hope you get better soon.

Anyway, here are some of the pics of what you missed. :D
