In order to accommodate some people that are unable to make our weekday meetings, we will be having our March meeting this Saturday at 10:00am. This will be a big one with lots on the agenda including the San Rafael Swell, Cruise Moab and the RMP as well as a trip report from Ace an other people's input. The meeting will once again be held at HRL Compliance in the conference room (2385 F1/2 Road in Grand Junction). After the meeting a run is in order. Check in here if you are interested in a day run.

I'll be there for the meeting, might be headed out to do a shake down on the tent for the weekend though.

I might try to make it down for this, will it be a snow run or have things pretty well melted off down there?

You guys' choice for a run. I won't be able to attend. It's muddy in the valleys and snowy up high so the sky is the limit. I did 1/3 of Kokopelli two weeks ago and it was a mud fest. Not recommended.

Ill try to make it for the meeting but Ill be heading out for camping that afternoon. Jon can you bring a membership form. My printer has died on me.

Sure thing, I'll have membership forms and liability waivers available.

I'll be there too. I'd be interested in some kind of run as long as its not some mud slog. Wondering what it might be like if we just reran the same stuff we did on the last snow run. Probably less snow up there now, which ain't necessarily a good thing.

I'm driving up from TX tomorrow. Then I have to leave Sunday for Vegas for a business conference. But Saturday is free. :-) Assuming I am not dead tired. After a week in Vegas me and some co-workers from Germany are going to do a quick tour of Utah and Arizona. We'll be in Moab on Saturday the 9th. Then down to Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon. I should be back in Ridgway by the middle of the following week for a few more days.

Bangs canyon is always good.

Yeh I considered Bangs Canyon but thought it could be really muddy in spots recalling the awful ruts I saw last fall. I won't run trails that add to that kind of damage. Leave no trace does not just mean litter. Besides I can't afford the fistfull of quarters it would take to clean my rig. ;-)

I made it to Ridgway. After driving 900+ miles in 15.5 hours I am not sure I feel like doing much more driving tomorrow but I do plan to come to the meeting to see old friends and meet some new ones. :bounce:

Be good to see you again, even if you are from Texas. ;-)

Kind of late but just thought of an option for tomorrow if we cant come up with a wheeling plan. How about some plinking? Punch a few holes in cans or paper targets? I'll toss in my 9mm and some shells JIC.

Good productive meeting today. Thanks to all who showed up. Here are a few of us in the parking lot. Afterwards Dan and I went shooting. Good day it was.

Good thing it wasn't behind a lifted truck it would have backed over and not just knocked over.

A very good thing.....

The fridge is unscathed. Polished up nicely with some stainless cleaner. NL FTW!
