Guys, I really need to get this transmission swapped out in the 77 CJ7. (the orange one I took the trans out of for my 84)
If Doc is available on the weekend of the 9th, we can meet up there.
I got the tow dolly road worthy (I think) and this would be a great shakedown trip.

I'll try to make it! I'll have to check with the wife, though! I may head back early on Sat. I think it's the first mud bog of the season. My brother almost has truck ready with the SAS and rebuilt motor. Gotta see how it runs!

OK by me the week before I am on a Sun thur schedule and will be home sometime friday. And I am then not scheduled till Monday in NC. So it's doable, even if the plant runs overtime I can be there. See Ya

David you need me to get the tranny jack at the shop(it's currently on loan in florence? Or do you want to just use the lift and raise the jeep off the tranny transfer? Let me know Doc

At this time it looks like I will be there sometime friday but that could change as late as thursday I can be notified that I have duty on Friday night (saturday morning) and I am currenty in North Carolina 4.o hours away.

I checked with John and the jack should be back by saturday as well. If it looks like I will be late saturday getting back I will have Joe unlock the shop for you David.

I am going to be home sometime saturday if not friday . David my get there before I can as I will be comming from up above Ashville. But that's it ,me and david ,I think I can get my son to come help too! I know I can get him to unlock the shop and trailer for folks.

AS far as chow we will have to do take out as I have been on the road all week and have not been able to plan anything so burgers, deli, chicken, pizza we'll decide when the time comes. Hope you get to make it Scott. And as always the better halves are welcome any time at all but remember I am a bachelor so house keeping is not my strong suit. See ya!

Wasn't hard, just not as we planned.
The trans I bought to install wouldnt fit, and wasn't in good shape, so we repaired the one that we took out and re-installed it. All in all, it was a good day.

Well, I haven't tried it yet, It needs a little to get it running again, and it doesn't have any fluid in it yet. Should know by this weekend.
