Two days ago I tried doing Mara mountain for the second time. I drove through enormous fields of glacier lily with spectacular views of jagged peaks all around. I only got to 2000m before a patch of snow and time turned me back.

This Sunday I intend to go back and get to the top which sits at 2200m.

So I ask, anyone interested in joining?

If your still thinking of going up Mara on Sunday, we'd join you for the day. Been on my list of trails to do for a long time, so why not now. Just let me know where to meet you and what time. Coming in from Kamloops so only about an hour and a half away.

Mara Mt is marked on my calendar so I plan to go even if alone. I remember running into you years ago in the parking lot of princess auto. Would be nice to see your BJ74 with all the work done to it since then.

I was thinking of leaving for 10am but if thats too early we can push that forward.

A good meeting place is the large parking lot on Russell Ave in Enderby. It's across the street from Lordco and IGA Marketplace and between McLeod Insurance and Autowear Accessories.

My wife may complain that 10 am is too early, but I'm sure we can do that. I have your number so I'll text you when were leaving.

And yes we did meet at princess auto. Good memory.

What a great day for a drive. Thanks for an awesome day Eric!

Certainly one of the most beautiful drives I've done in last couple years. Good roads, many ponds and lakes along the way, spectacular meadows of budding flowers, views of the Monashee's around every ben and good company made this a memorable trip for sure.

Looks like you had an excellent adventure. This one is still on my list to do with the family. Great pics.
