The build on our current 100 is gaining momentum and it is going to get heavy pretty fast...

Right now it is great with 860s but all it has are sliders and a belly skid.

Once our 80 reached ridiculous proportions (7500+ lbs.) the upgrade from 864s to 868s made it much more controllable on off camber stuff, thus I'm thinking about skipping the 864s and going straight to 868s on the 100.

All said and done it will probably end up with drawers, 63 quart ARB fridge, 2nd spare, Slee dual swing out and a fair amount of additional fuel and water on longer trips...this thing may end up needing 4.88s to get out of it's own way.

I have 864s with a dual swing out bumper loaded with fridge, rear storage platform, gear, water and gas and it sagged about 1/2" - 2/3" after being loaded down. I have not towed my offroad trailer with it yet but I suspect that the Cruiser will handle the weight just fine.

I suspect that the 868s will be very harsh when you are driving the Cruiser without weight.

I've had 868s on the 80 for several years and it rides great, albeit it is always pretty heavy (drawers, fridge, recovery gear, 2nd spare, etc...).

The 100 may respond quite differently though, I'd also like to keep the weight to a minimum...the 80 got a bit out of control and needs to go on a diet.

Thanks!

Never heard of anyone needing more than 864 on a 100. That's a fully loaded rig. I'd go to those of you really need it.
