Has anyone ported and polished the intake / exhaust manifold of a 2F? What were the results, please.

Didn't AndrewFarmer port and polish his crazy 6500rpm 2F? I always thought it lessend low rpm grunt and was mainly beneficial the more revs you were turning.

Porting would be a good idea. but polishing would be kind dumb. polishing only has advantages at very high RPM. the rough cast surfaces actually help 'swirl' the air/fuel mix keeping it atomized before it gets burned. i have heard of people with polished intakes/heads getting puddles of fuel at normal driving rpms...
