My 80 has a Mallory in-line fuel filter mounted to the frame rail. It calls for a #3161 replacement filter. BOTH tanks use separate lines, but the same filter.
My question is two part - how often do I need to change the filter, and I suspect that I will want to remove the gas cap to relieve pressure when I crack it loose to do the replacement. True?
