Ive got a 99 TLC. I went with icon stage 3 front and rear 2.5" suspension package and nitro front upper control arms. Bought a set of 17x8 wheels and 295/70-r17 cooper SST pros. What do i need to make this wheel/tire combo work? do i need a 1" body lift and wheel spacers? any help would be greatly appreciated bc returning tires and wheels won't be an option. THANKS!

That measures out to just over a 33. I do not think you would need spacers or a body lift. Until you get to a 34 plus, I would keep as stock as possible. It is likely the tires do not even measure out to a 33 (if you used a tape measure, to check).

Bolt them up and drive it.

Ahhhh...I was thinking you had a Toyota 17, not sure with aftermarket rims.

In the famous words of somebody on this page: cut to fit, paint to match.

what type of hub issues? is there anything i can do spacer wise that would correct the problem with wheel offset?

spacer will only make it worse.

what wheel is it and style. that wheel was made for Tundra so there hub is not as deep as ours so like on rock warrior wheels you have to run a spacer. have you even tried to bolt them up?

better tire size to run would have been 285.75.17

I am running 297/70/17 nitto mt's on rock warrior wheels with 10mm spacers so my effective offset is 40mm and am pretty flush with the body because how wide the 295s are. I cant imagine them sticking out 40 more mm without hitting sheet metal unless you go with skinnier tires. You could have a machine shop remove some material from the back of the wheel hub to increase the offset a little depending on the design back there.

Are your 10mm spacers the slip on kind? Got a link to them or where I can find them? I want to put a larger tire on my RW wheels but I have 1" spacers up front that increase the likelihood of rubbing even with a mild 285/70/17 tire. As a result I've been only running 265/70/17 BFG A/T's.

Yes, slip on. A forum member(shaggy) had a shop make a large batch specifically for the 100. They pop up on occasion in the classified (how i got some) or there may be companies that make slip on ones that may work by now. You will need to run a different center cap from the older generation tundra trd wheel to cover the hub dust cover as the original flat one wont work.

Have any side shots to see the fender flushness? I'm probably going to go with the 1" spacer so I can run the center cap, looking at a 305/65 so I'm curious. Thanks.

ok so I've decided to go with the
Toyota Tundra 2012 - 2015 TRD 17" Bead Lock Style Forged Rims Set
17" x 8" x 50mm six-spoke forged aluminum wheels with 5 x 150mm lug nut

Do i need to go with any spacer to make these work with the 295/70-r17 Cooper SST Pros?

you will need at minimum a small slip on spacer to be able to get the wheel to fit on the hub. I used the 10mm spacer for this but you will need new center caps for the front. If you go 1" or larger spacer the original flat cap will fit.

If you dont already have the Tundra Rock Warrior wheels I may have a set available for sale as the second set I bought for the wifes 570 may not be going on due to her not liking the look as much as me and since its her daily I may give up and put some all terrains on the wheels already on there.

Thanks for the feedback. How much for the wheels? I'm looking at brand new OEM for $1500...
