Well, after about 5 years on jackstands, I finally "finished" my fj40 project (are they ever really done? I think not), and headed out with a few other cruiserheads for my vehicles maiden voyage.
It was a good test run, not too hard, but hard enough to get things flexed out to see how things work. Biggest issue was overheating with my SBC. I built a shroud, but didn't quite close off the front face enough to maximize air flow. Some innovative work with duck tape did the trick, and it held temp for the remainder of the run.
Not a ton of pics, but it was a great day in the Pacific Northwest to be outdoors.
