Not to keep this thread alive but....... I should explain myself. So, I'm working on site Fri. and I hit my cats (again) enough already I have some extra bucks I doing the lift. I call MAF as stated above talk to Steve. I have no bumpers /armor I'm thinking 851/860. I don't like the rake so maybe spacers, also stated above all my crap don't weigh much. In come the drop brackets, sounded good. I get home go to MAF site look at said brackets, first thought HOLY COW THOSE THINGS HANG LOW, maybe they will protect my cats a little. I wonder what the mudders think. Jump on here and post a pre search ? I'm kindly reminded of the search feature, While searching it all comes back to me. I remember these posts (my memory ain't what it used to be) and not liking the brackets. If I hit my cats a lot I will hit brackets a lot. So fast forward, brackets out cc bushings in now the springs. I have searched read posts read Romer's great FAQ. I like the stance of the 850/860 combo but see that Christo dosen't recommend w/o ARB, too bad that is the stance I'm looking for. Now my question, I'm leery asking because at this point it's like a what size tire yada yada, seems to me that if 850 is like 851 w/20-30 mm packer that a 851 w/15mm packer would be like a 850 w/ARB, no? One more thing HQ sliders are on the list I just wanted a little height first. If anybody read this whole diatribe thanks for listening. Maybe 851/860 live with rake.

If you are worried about your cats ... just have em cut and turned.
