I am looking to closely copy the design, but I'm not into making them for sale. Just one....for me. I need to take some measurements and wondered if anyone had one that I could come and look and get some dimensions.
I'm in Harrisonville, but will travel to see one up close.
Can anyone help me out here?

Thanks,

Ed

I had the older one with the lower mounted basket. I really liked it until I went to Katemcy, TX. That's when I realized the basket was too low...... Erik build one one a few years ago for one the GCC guys and I ended up with it for a while then sold it again.

I'd guess if you were to gather up the steel, the spindles for the hinges, some lights and a latch it would be a good wrenching weekend project. IIRC the mount plates were 3/8", the two main tubes and tire carrier tube was 1/4" wall square tube 2 1/2" or 3". The cooler baskets easy. I'd suggest when you do the tire carrier to set it up so you can bolt a complete hub to it..... easy access to spares on the trail.
