Hey CLC members. I have a small project i'm working on that requires the services of a machinist or a person with a CNC mill or lathe. It isn't a 40 project. i'm finishing up a go kart project with my son and essentially need to mount a hub to a small wheel. I'm hoping someone can rec. a machinist or person with a CNC mill I can turn to in the Madison area. Trying to complete as soon as possible. Thanks for the assistance.

Do a search for Gilmore Automotive in Ridgeland, MS just off Ridgewood Rd near hwy 51. There is a machine shop on the same street. Can't remember the name. They helped me with the used tow bar I bought years ago with rust and damage to the bronze bushings in the connection to the bumper mounts.

Thanks, I'll check them out.

Don't know whether he has the time or desire to do it, but you could try Lee Nottingham in Hazelhurst. Google Nottingham Tactical for the number.

Thanks TCB. First I went to a place Robert recommended through email, Jackson Powertrain, but they just happened to be closed on Tuesday and Thursday (I went down Tuesday). So I looked around for the place over by Gilmore Automotive which turned out to be Magnolia Tool & Dye. They helped me out with the project and were really nice. I asked, but unfortunately they don't really do automotive machining for most of our needs but I did get my hub on the go kart wheel and now just need to pick it up sometime after the three day.

Good to hear Magnolia got it done.
