Hi All,
I'm new to the central Oregon area, and I'll be attempting to undertake a rebuild project of my 1fzfe. The one portion of this project I know I can't handle is all the machine work (bore +1, check the deck for flatness, check & polish crank) so I'm wondering if folks have a recomendation for a good machine shop that (ideally) would have done work on older toyota engines before. I'm in Bend so a shop there would be ideal (will be posting on Central Oregon LC's as well) but also wanted to know if folks here have a recomendation. Not opposed to driving back to portland area to drop the block/etc for a while if I'm more likely to get a better outcome. This is first engine rebuild so I don't have the skills/experience to oversee a machine shop IE. Its all a new learning experience for me but trying to avoid mistakes on the items I'm paying someone else to do :)

Thanks in advance!
Corey

Just a quick followup, got two recommendations:
-Bearing service in Portland
-Deschutes Machine Shop in Bend

Will update once I have a chance to get the block in to be bored/tanked/etc.
