I am having a very difficult time sourcing the rubber hose component of the brake line (part #14 on the attached drawings) on the M416 trailer that I'm trying to restore. I have contacted the usual suspects: saturn surplus, midwest military and Ron Fitzpatrick without finding the part or getting a lead.
If anyone has any suggestions I would be very grateful.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Looks like just a regular brake hose to me. Is there something obviously special about it? If not, then any local parts house should have something that will work once you get the connectors figured out.

Gosh, John B did not have something eh?

Do you have the old hose?

I would expect it to be a part from one of the platforms likely to tow it. Have you looked into that angle?

There are places that can make you a new hose if you can't find something close. Oxnard Hose in Oxnard, CA is one such place if you can't find someone closer to you.

brake hose

I don't have the old rubber hose. It looks like etrailer.com has a brake line that will work. It's been ordered, I'll update once I confirm it fits. Thanks for your help.

Yep, you guys were right. Plain old brake line a few bucks from e-trailer to my door. Thanks again for the help.
