M416 trailer tire replacement, suggestions?

Looking for replacement tires (wheels if I gotta). Had a catastrophic failure on the newest tire on my way home from TX. Miraculously it was still holding air and we couldn't tell anything was wrong until we stopped for gas. I think the endless potholes on I-20 between Vicksburg and Jackson are responsible (in addition to sustained highway speeds).

So I'm hoping it is possible to go to a non tubed, radial tire and use the same wheels. This was a 7.00x16 tire. Anyone got any suggestions for a tire of similar dimensions that's rated for highway speeds? Does anyone know if the stock 16" military wheels will work with non tube tires?

How about a trailer specific radial tire that is considered a 31"

I run BFG Commercials on my car trailer...E range, 16" wheels...IMO, stick with something like that

Coker tire probably has something that will fit those wheels.

My Bantam 1/4 ton trailer has Jeep hubs on it so I have 15" wheels and 235/75-15 Goodyear RTS tires. They were cheap and have a good 10k miles on them and show no wear.
