Looks like Swampman's email is bouncing, so he appears to have been telling the truth about cutting off the web for a while. For those of you interested, I have hosted the plans on my server for you all to download. Since Swampman was sending them out free of charge, I felt this idea was continuing that tradition.

If he, or any mod/admins, wants me to pull it down from the server, please delete this post, and email me at partslinger at gmail dot com and I would be happy to oblige.

So, if you want the plans, as Swampman sent to me, here you go...

ALL credit for that .pdf goes to Swampman!

PS. If anyone wants to edit the .pdf to include credit (I can't edit) shoot me an email at the addy above. I will replace hosted file with his credits.

Very happy I found this thread. THANKS Swampman for the drawings, I saw your trailer lid before, and it is basically exactly what I am looking to get fabbed up.

Thanks to Corprin too for hosting this in Swampman's absence. Looking forward to a nice lid!! Any idea what the average cost of making one of these to paint-ready status runs?

i'm looking for lid ideas and love this one so much. what are you using for hinges and latches to hold the lid down? i can't seem to make them out in your pictures. can you take some close ups of them?

I have been looking a while now for a good used CDN M101 trailer . The tub will be fj army green fenders will be black .

It looks like I’m a little late to the party. It’s been 7 years since the last comment. Does anyone have the plans that would be willing to share? I would love to get a copy.

i would suggest taking close measurements of your own trailer. i found a set of plans and sent them to my fab shop. thankfully they called back and asked if that as inner or outer dimensions. i had to go measure and found that i would have been out by over an inch in some dimensions. i didn’t know there was variability in sizes but it seems as though there are! i really just measured the size of the outside diameter of the box and reproduced the angles and height for symmetry of the top of the box. it looks great and was really easy

here’s a thread with mine for reference Yet another CDN m101
