I would like to receive the plans also if possible. Been pulling my hair out trying to design a plan for mine but it looks like yours is exactly what I am looking for.

Thanks

Hello Swampman

I would love a set of plane for your lid,or failing that can you email me a quote for making the lid.

mfmint@bell.blackberry.net

I am in Montreal.not a huge stretch to getting a lid that looks that good,I had a local quote me something to cover my M101,and it looked like crap compared to the neat lines of yours.

I was hoping that Mr Leblanc would finish another batch as I like the aluminum he uses as well,But I have yet to hear back from him

Thanks a bunch

Paulo

e mails have been sent guys,,

sorry i havnt been on much lately , i am in the busy season at work now, hurt my friggen back ,and i am trying to rebuild my trailer as well, i cut the rack off the lid and welded some tabs on it tonight so that i can remove the rack / tent much easier now, my tent was designed to be no more than 59'' from the ground and , thats excactly where it was, i am going with 35's now, so i had to lower my rack accordingly, ,

i dismantled everything and had it sandblasted, somthing i never had time to do when i first built it, i have done the frame and everything underneath with bedliner , the fenders are done, i should have the lid and inside of the tub bedlined by the weekend and , the body should be ready to paint by the following weekend, i will be painting it mango tango to match the new tow rig, i havnt bothered to take any pics yet , if i remember i will take pics of the new tabs , before i paint them

i also had to find a guy to machine and drill my hubs ( not gonna try that myself yet cuz im still learning and dont wanna mess that up )
the new jeep has 5 on 5 and i cant find hubs to match, spacers are not leagal in canada, sooo ......

thats where things sit today..

Can't wait for the pics of the updates and improvements!

UPDATE... ok well the make over is going a little slow cuz i hurt my back.. its getting better though .
asyou know the tent was mounted on racks welded to the lid, with the larger tires going on the tent would be 2 inches to high from the ground ,
so i cut the rack off and welded some angle brackets and will bolt the rack directly to the lid now and will have the option of removing fairly quickly if needed,
tonight i finished the brackets,
tomorow i will finish sanding the lid and inside the tub.
i hope to have all the bedliner done by the weekend, the underneath will get a second coat , the lid and inside the tub will be done too..
if i get all that done before saturday i should be ready to paint the body by next weekend,,,,,,,, hopefully
anyway here is what it looks like now
