Ok I found another trailer from a local.

Seller says it is a M101 US model and he thinks it is 3/4 ton. Is this possibly accurate that the US M101 is 3/4 ton while the CDN M101 is 1/4 ton? I guess I am confused.

He wants $750 and says it is clean with no rust or damage, but fresh paint. He also stated he has not wired it at all. My father in law is a electrician so that is easily overcome. It comes with wood sides and bows but no top.

What do you guys think?

thanks

Aaron

The us 101 is a 3/4 ton large trailer, which weighs in ove 1500# empty. The canadian 101 is more like a us m100 or m416.
Look back a few weeks of posts, the us 105 is a slightly heavier us 101.
Worth a look in case its not a us 101 tho,,

Yep, two very different trailer. Just an odd choice of nomenclature.

You don't want an M101 behind your Cruiser. It is not an M101cdn.

Also... M101s go for a bit less than that. There is not much market for them so the price stays low. I would not consider paying over 3-4 hundred for one in excellent to perfect condition. M105s got for even less. (Practically scrap weight price!)

M101 vs 101 CDN

OK- It does have bows so I guess it cannot be a canadian version. That makes it worth about $300 to me based on these posts. I will look at it tomorrow just in case.

thanks

If you're not interested, let me know Aaron. I'd like to get ahold of one of those, now that my trailer is a tent trailer now.
