Hey Team,

Just thought I would share my feedback on the Stedi H11, HB3, fogs, and running light LED conversion that I did. I've read a few different LED conversion threads on here and ultimately left confused. I'd ordered a set of Stedi H11's for my wife's Sienna a while back and was very pleased so I figured I'd give them a shot on the LX. If you go to their site, they have all of the bulbs to do a complete swap up front so I just went ahead and ordered it all. The high beams are NOT able to multi-function as the DRL's like the stock bulbs, but otherwise, no issues with AHS or the end caps and they are plug and play. Let me know if you have any questions.

Did you order direct from AUS, or a local reseller? Definitely interested in changing out my low-beams... good to know the DRL function works with their high-beam bulb. Could you post a photo of the car with DRLs only?

I ordered directly from AUS because I am in Germany. I am assuming you can get them stateside but not sure.

Sure. This is with only one of the bulbs changed but you get the idea.

On your LX, do the high beams also act as the DRLs like they do on the 2008-2015 LC? I can't quite tell from your photos. The Stedi site says these are compatible and if so that would be great as most LED high beam solutions don't work with our DRLs

So that is something that I am still confused about. Short answer is that to my knowledge, no, the LX high beams do not function as our DRL's as I had an actual bulb to change. I've only had my LX a month or so and I never really paid attention to how specifically the DRL's worked before, so I could be all ate up, but the DRL that I changed was a separate bulb from the high beam HB3.

Thanks. That's too bad, I was hoping the faint glow in the next-to-last photo was the high beam DRL glow, not just a reflection of light from the low beams.

I emailed STEDI so if they say it will in fact work I'll reply to this thread, though it sounds like that won't matter for the 1st gen LX570

just to clarify, when your light switch is in "auto" and during the daytime - do your high-beam lights come on at half-brightness as it appears in the 2nd photo?
the DRL's aren't separate on the LC's in the US- they are just "dim" high-beams.

So I don't want to spread bad data, I will take another picture tomorrow with the lights in Auto as it's well after dark here. The second picture is of the DRL bulb/marking light, not the high beam at low brightness. I believe it is the marking light bulb that acts as the DRL for the LX's and not the high beam, but I could absolutely be incorrect about this and will do my best to clarify tomorrow.

Ok, so I stand corrected, the high beams are not able to function as the DRL's. I put the switch on Auto and nothing from the high beams. I corrected my original post, my apologies for the initial misinformation.

thanks for reporting back!

So just an update, my AHS light did come on tonight. I pulled the caps off, let AHS reset, then turned off AHS and put the OE caps back on. The larger caps are $15 so I'll just order a set and turn AHS back on after they arrive.

I think these lights are great, much brighter and effective than the factory bulbs. My favorite part has to be that they are all the same temperature at 5000k. It gives the lights a very factory look. I previously felt the need to eventually upgrade to the 13-15 headlights but I don't think that's necessary anymore.
