Just wondering if there was a change in the T-case at all model number or anything from 98-2007?
I have a 2000 LX470 and i would like to know if in the future I ever need a replacement Tcase what years I can Swap in? Thanks.

anyone?

I think your right but the dealership seems to think otherwise but they are not very smart I have proved them wrong several times.

This is a random question but has anyone swapped in a 2wd-all time 4x4-4x4 low? Does a tc even exist that Toyota had in anything that is something along those lines?
I had a jeep Cherokee long ago and it had the option to drive in 2wd or all time 4x4 with no harm at any speed or any driving condition so it gave a option and I liked that! Does Toyota make anything like that?

Yes, there are a couple of iterations but none that would fit your truck cheaply or directly here for the US market.

The HF1A and the "split case" are your two iterations of 2WD/4WD transfer cases that are very popular. The HF1A is not available for the US market.

The split case was available on late FJ40's, all FJ60's and 62's.

Getting either of these to mate to your transmission would be rather time consuming and pricey.

A better bet if you want a manual transfer system would be to convert your transfer case to a part time set up and add manual hubs to your front axles.

That would be a bit pricey too.

Ah thank you very much! Someone said the sequoia had such transfer case I guess not but thank you very much for your info!

So the sequoia does have a 2wd 4wd high and low? I wonder how hard that would be? I assume pretty hard? What is the model number of that tc?

Oh Okies thanks again
