I really want to do this, there's some aussie aftermarket LC headlights I want so it would be a great excuse to do the swap. Problem is finding a donor LC, i'm in socal and not a lot of dismantlers have these sitting in their yard.

I just surfed my area on Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and Offer up with search terms like "landcruiser parting", or "landcruiser hood". There were a few places and listings that came up eventually. I eventually found mine at an auto dismantler down near San Pedro. Its not too hard.

oh wow you're local to me didn't reven realize. I'm in the IE. I have offer up saved search and will peruse craigs, i dont have FB so that will cut my search success down

I have a (repainted but not very well) black LC hood in Cincinnati OH if anyone wants it. Small hole where someone ran a screw through when mounting wind deflector. Free other than shipping cost which is anyone’s guess.

I also have an extra set of glass LC headlight assemblies. Not free but reasonable.

Aussies drive on the left, if you're driving in the U.S. those headlights will be pointing towards the ditch. Not ideal.

I was going to email them and see if their cut off was switchable as some lights manufacturers often do that to cut down on having to make s LHD RHD specific headlights
