lx470 OME 2" lift kit

Hi I have a 2000 LX470 I bought used. The ride if fine, but won't be for long. The AHC is stuck in N mode which is fine for now, but Lexus estimated $3100 just in parts to fix it. Everything else is fine. So how do the folks on here like the OME medium 2" lift kit? If I do it, I plan to get the shocks, coil springs and torsion bars. Do I need the differential drop plate too? Or should I just get the stock Land Cruiser shocks, coil springs and torsion bars?

depend on the plans for your vehicle. ome sells a kit for the original height.

You might try tinkering with the AHC yourself and at least get it to go back to H under its own power. Mine got to where it wouldn't go into high with a trailer on. I changed the rear coils with OEM and tightened the torsion bars and all is well. The ride is mine is so-so, the globes are near the end.

Thanks I'll try that. I have 265/75 R16 BFG AT's on it. The AHC says it's in normal but the tires look a bit big. A 2" lift wouldn't hurt.
