anyone fit one on? slee says maybe with modification, but i dont know what that would be, and why. the sheetmetal difference looks superficial to me.

the lexus is a 2001.

i talked to slee. there are some light tabs that get in the way of the grill (sawzall) and some gaps left by the differing sheet metal.

id like to see some closeup pics if anyone has one installed. its the delux bull bar im talking about, not the chrome shara.

Hoser did this mod a while back. Do a search on his user id and you'll find the thread.

Yes, there is a small gap in front of the grill area but is not very noticeable, especially with the bullbar. You'll have to wait another week for any pictures.

id like the pics, but i think thats settled. i want full protection and im not into the chrome of the sahara.

Hi, new to the forum. I still have a question in this regard. I am wondering if ARB deluxe bull bar bumper Slee ARB1011 fits a 2001 Lexus LX 470 with a few trims as the original poster asks. I assume this is the same bumper as ARB#3413050? All the sales outlets specifically say it (3413050) does not fit the LX470. Hoser proved that the 03+ bumper Slee ARB 1021 (or ARB#3413190 ?) fits a 2001 LX470 with a few trims..what about the ARB 1011? and is it the same as the ARB 341350 available at other outlets for cheaper than Slee? And one final question, if I'm buying new, should I go with the 03+ as Hoser or the 98-02 on my 2001 LX470..and why? Thanks...
