I thought someone might be interested in parts for a FZJ80. After all, we don't see fzj80s at public yunk yards every day.

I saw this 97 LX 450 at a public/free admission yard, someone tamper with the kick panels and is missing the grill with the headlight, It's locked, however the told me the front axle had been sold

The junkyard is Global Auto in Elgin, IL

I may check that out. Did the hood and front fenders look to be in good shape? I have some rust that is going to be a PITA to fix. I can always use a few other bits as well.
 
Actually, I don't know why they sent it to the yunk yard, I forgot to ask. The truck is not crashed they body looked good to me although I don't know if they damaged it when they pulled the front axle.

Of course, what looked good to me may not look good to you, so, you don't have much to lose by checking it out. By the way, they told me they sold the front axle wms to wms with e-locker for $400, if that's true, I think they have good prices too. That to me is a good deal, I kind of wanted it for my 4runner.
 
$400 is by far the cheapest Ive seen a junkyard advertize for a 80 front axle....locked or not. When I was shopping them, I actually wanted an open, and I couldn't find them for less than $800

We got a locked 80 rear axle at our local Pick a Part for around 180.00.
 
eh, really its more when I'm passed out in a bag chair with underage porn that's my time of thinking how I can sell their parents a college savings plan.

I have whole life....waiting to "borrow" from it

My 401k is getting up there too....

I say why wait to see how long you're gonna live....borrow against the life policy & cash out the 401k every 5 yearrs or so
