LX Wheel Spin

Just tried out the LX' in some slippery snow/mud. What is the "clicking" sound that occurs during wheel spin? This is only momentary, and I figure its the traction control or other electronic babysitter kicking in. The clicking disengages once traction is gained. Thanks for any responses.

what year? if a 2000+ I agree, its the TRAC

if 98-99...maybe the rear limited slip

Thanks, this is on a 2002. Too bad the owners manual does not tell you that the trac is going to sound like you are grinding away gears.
