I agree with everything you said except the flash part. The LX has an element of flash to it, now more than ever with the 300.
It most definitely has a flash. Especially if you have the regular silver grill. Reminds me of these people (usually LA movie stars) doing the whitening teeth treatment.

Folks are overthinking this. Common person doesnt care the LX is understated in its class, all they see is big huge SUV, and assume money.

And who cares what anyone “thinks”? It’s for me to drive, not some other schlub.
thats in reference to folks who describe the primary reason for driving the LX is thats its somehow under the radar vehicle. They dont want to be seen in a flashy in your face G wagon.

again to each her or his own.

So how many folks are waiting for the so called LX700h?

Utter stupidity what you just said. I can afford to finance a $112k car but I sure as **** can’t afford to just dump $45-50k on an engine replacement every 20k miles when your warranty runs out.
Actually, this is the debt slave mentality.

No, you can't afford this car if you have to finance it and you have no money to repair an engine.

Yes, you are making monthly payments with a lot of interest, and are stretched so thin you can't fix any major issues.

I buy my vehicles outright in cash, because if I can't afford it in cash, then I buy what I can afford all cash.

This is what a lifetime of CogDis conditioning does to the chattel on the corporate plantation.

I don't care what "people" think about what I drive. I would assume "people" couldn't care less. I bought a LX 600 because I liked it. Same with every other car I've ever driven.

The level of hate shown by some individuals in this thread is somewhat astounding. Sure, other than a slight worry about the engine issues, I have some complaints about my 600 but they primarily revolve around "nanny issues" like the seat belt buzzers (at least it does not have a camera that watches your eyes like the new GX supposedly has).

I am not going to get rid of my 18 LC, but, (in my opinion) when it comes to which vehicle to take on road trips, there is no comparison, the LX600 is winner.

My 30K+ miles in the last year have been totally trouble free and I hope my switch to 5w20w at my last service helps keeps it that way (by the way, the dealer was totally supportive with the switch from 0w20w to 5w20w).

Dumb. I’m in the automotive industry. Know and have a lot of customers with VERY expensive cars. We do a lot of exotics. NOBODY. Not ONE person I know is buying these cars with cash.

So is there any news out on the refresh or is this thread irrelevant to its title?

Actually, banks make like 2% or something off these auto loans?

I make a lot more on my money. Dollar for dollar significantly more.

But I own a business so its a little different. Banks have my balls nailed to the wall with the doubling of interest rates in the last couple years. Use their money, use it fast, and pricing in the cost of borrowing is necessary.

My main add here on financial awareness is that something like an LX is a large purchase for an established household. Put a big down payment so you can 1) afford the payments if finances slow down or other life things happen that you shouldn’t avoid because of materialistic items. 2) Have enough equity where you can get out of it and float yourself if something happens (very strict rule or mine). 3)Get a long note if you are an entrepreneur and want flexibility.

From what I understand on the 600 you get:

1) New body mounts.
2) The newer safety system (probably a downside as it watches you and its all up in your s*** already).
3) Full digital gauge display.
4) Possibly revised suspension tuning? I watched a video and the commentary said some of the drivability issues with the 24 LX600 were gone in the LX700OT. Drove them back to back- a 24 600 luxury on 22” and a 25 700OT on 18s.
5) Massaging seats on some models?
6) Soft close doors on some models? (Stupid they didn’t do this on the 24 Fsport I have).
7) No more Onyx black Fsport.
8) Addition of the 700 hybrid obviously.

What else yall? Since we are getting off topic talking about money…

I looked at a widow sticker of a 2025 LX600 a

I dont see a trailer break controller (not sure how big deal is this for most LX6 owners)

Also, it's still not shift by wire, like the LX7s, which means it doesn't have and advance park. I know it's gimmicky but it's one of those thing that I'll use 1% of the time.

Ah yeah there is a trailer brake controller now. I guess its standard?

I think the frames are slightly different on the lx600 and lx700h. The 700h has more cross members.

Yeah I believe so.

Just to avoid confusion lets stick to 600s. I saw a vid with a 2025 600 luxury model and it has a brake controller and soft close doors.
