I highly doubt there will be anything and even if there is it’ll be very minor. I’ve heard nothing about a hybrid either.Anyone know anything about a body/interior/powertrain refresh for 2025?
You beat me to the punch!Engines that don’t blow up. Maybe?
"Ruined" the LX? Really? By not advertising an ultra niche car?Lexus dropped the ball BIG TIME on the LX600. It's a damn shame. Look how much marketing they did for the new GX. Do you remember even a single commercial to hype up the 300-series LX? I don't. Literally nobody cares or knows about this car, not to mention the dog sht drivetrain and enormous sticker price. These things were selling for over $200k USED last year at our local dealerships, I saw it with my own two eyes.
I think I maybe saw 5 total LX600s in the last few years. Everybody here is driving Range Rovers and BMW/Audi/Mercedes SUVs.
They ruined the LS, the GS which is now gone for good, and now the LX. So all their flagship models are done for. And I am sure they could care less as their bread and butter has always been the ES,RX, and now the NX.
They ruined it by making it an unreliable and overpriced POS. My apologies for making it unclear in the initial post."Ruined" the LX? Really? By not advertising an ultra niche car?
Utter nonsense.
Utter stupidity what you just said. I can afford to finance a $112k car but I sure as **** can’t afford to just dump $45-50k on an engine replacement every 20k miles when your warranty runs out.PS if you can swing a $112k+ car, then you can fix whatever it needs outside the warranty period.![]()

They will figure out the engine problem when? It’s been SIX years hahaha.I have to say you really do “pay” for the quality and its a shame nowdays. My 2008 Tundra was a tank and very affordable.
They will figure out the engine problem. I thankfully waited 2 years as you usually get the better quality the year or 2 after a new model comes out (and yes I have tested this theory and it sometimes is absolutely the case).
I bought some wheels/all terrains for this LX600 and may not want to run them long. To toss them on another vehicle I went to the Toyota Tundra build site to play around and notice it has been down. Maybe they are preparing for some motor swaps?
They recalled 102,000 Tundras and LX600 in the US. I am sure some hybrid Tundras will be given extended warranties or something and experience failures. They will figure out the engine problem when? It’s been SIX years hahaha.

What size wheels and all terrains did you buy? ThanksI have to say you really do “pay” for the quality and its a shame nowdays. My 2008 Tundra was a tank and very affordable.

Sure needs as revised front grille --- Terminator is not attractive.I highly doubt there will be anything and even if there is it’ll be very minor. I’ve heard nothing about a hybrid either.

I would disagree wity this statement regarding engine issues. The LX600 is also part of the massive recall in the US as well as in AUS and if* these engines originally made in Japan, this means Japanese engines are also having these issues. You don't see as much as the the LX600 is a bit of a niche product (in the US at least) doesn't sell as much as the Tundra volume wise.Very few LX600s are having engine issues. They were handmade in Japan. This vehicle is very rare, and has better build quality than anything out there at any price point. I absolutely love this car, and IF the engine ever blows I am sure Lexus will take care of it. I added the extended warranty before there were any of these rumors. To me this is all FUD, and 99%+ of LX600 owners have had no issues to date.
